VLS 2005: Tour de France and la Marmotte!

Velo la Source 2005 offers TWO unique holidays for cycling enthusiasts, based in the village of Villard-Reculas in the French Alps. Both trips offer cyclists the opportunity to ride the great routes of the Alps, view the 2005 Tour de France, and race or ride in la Marmotte and the official time trial of Alpe d'Huez.

Velo la Source Chalet Holiday, July 4-14, 2005

Ten days of challenging cycling, Tour de France viewing, gourmet dining, and good times based at 200-year old renovated La Source Chalet in July. Includes the opportunity to race or ride la Marmotte, the world's most rigorous one-day bike race (174 kilometres finishing at the summit of Alpe d'Huez) and the other races of the Le Trophee de l'Oisans, including the time trial of Alpe d'Huez.
